Call
for Papers
The
Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association works with Berkeley Electronic Press (BEPress) for the publication of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Risk and Insurance (APJRI) –
the Association’s official journal.
The publisher makes available all the articles of the journal free of
charge to the Association members.
The
APJRI welcomes high-quality
submissions by academic and industry researchers, corporate executives,
and government officials. Papers
may address theoretical
or applied problems
in a variety of areas, including (but not limited to): actuarial pricing
and reserving; insurance operations, economics, and regulation;
corporate/enterprise risk management and finance; catastrophe risk;
social insurance and employee benefits; local/regional/international
insurance markets; and risk and insurance education.
Paper
Submission.
Manuscripts
should be submitted in MS Word, and must contain both an abstract and
complete author information (including name, title, affiliation, and
postal and e-mail addresses). All submissions should be sent to:
Michael
R. Powers, Editor
APJRI@apria.org;
apjritu@gmail.com
The
Review Process. Manuscripts
are subject to double-blind peer review at the discretion of the Editor,
and must not have been published in – or submitted for concurrent
review with – another journal. Successful authors will be required to
submit the final versions of their papers in MS Word, and to assign
copyright to the journal’s publisher.
Book
Review. The
APJRI publishes reviews of
books likely to be of interest to the journal’s readers. Andreas
Richter serves as Book Review Editor. Click here
for the
list.
Volunteer
Reviewers.
Researchers
are welcome to join the APJRI’s
pool of reviewers by sending the Editor a short biographical sketch and
indication of relevant areas of expertise.
